Jennifer Moore
Jen provides private workshops and lessons on painting and drawing a variety of natural subjects. She is based in East Sussex and is a keen naturalist. She paints in gouache and oils as well as making prints in Lino and Wood -cuts. Jen specialises in drawing and painting British Birds and has published multiple Birdwatching logbooks. To get the best sense of Jen's work, you can visit her website https://jennifermooreartist.com/
Jen runs a number of different workshops from nature-based bespoke drawing parties, to sketching chickens, to field sketching workshops at various venues across Sussex. Please contact Jen at the email below if you would like to discuss running a session for an event or corporate/CPD purposes. Jen sees drawing is a great way to collaborate and bond, and a good leveller. She teaches many people who haven’t drawn since they were children, or took their Art O or A Level and loves to see attendees relax in to the process and loosen up – and her aim is to encourage everyone to feel they have created pleasing work. It is also an interest that can be continued, with follow-up or more advanced sessions if desired.
Prices start at £100 for a 2-hour session, and travel from her postcode in Sussex is charged at 45p per mile. All materials are included, and depending on the workshop will include a sketchbook and pencils to take away. Drawing workshops require minimal organising regarding rooms and equipment, and she provides A3 boards to draw on and reference images if the bird life in the locality is limited.
